Kaziranga, Manas & Nameri National Parks are biodiversity hot-spots. Home to more than half of about 1200 varieties of avifauna recorded in the Indian subcontinent. DEHING PATKAI,MISHMI HILLS, MAYODIA PASS & MAGURI BEEL
Mishmi Hills of Arunachal Pradesh & Dehing-Patkai National Park is a heaven for nature lovers, home of over 800 bird species . It has a temperate climate with lush-green mountains, heavy rainfall, dashing rivers, sparkling waterfalls, chirping birds, loitering wild animals .
Key Species: Mishmi Wren-babblers, Blyth’s Tragopan, Sclater’s Monal, Temminck’s Tragopan, Cachar Wedge-billed Babbler, Rusty-bellied and Gould’s Shortwing,Purple and Green Cochoa, chestnut-breasted partridge, Ward’s trogon, Red-headed Trogon, Beautiful Nuthatch, Fire-tailed myzornis, White-winged duck, Pale-capped pigeon etc.

NAMERI, EAGLENEST, DIRANG, MANDALA, SANGTI VALLEY & SELAPASS

NAMDAPHA
Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve at the eastern tip of India is the last true wilderness you will find anywhere in the old world. Thick, impenetrable tropical rain forest growth covering international border between India and Myanmar within Changlang District in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The avifauna is a unique mix of Himalayan, Sino- Tibetan and Indo-Burmese forms. Namdapha is justly a birding paradise with more than 400 species represented with some only found in this area in India. From Ibisbills and White-bellied Herons to Blyth’s Tragopans, Blue-naped Pittas, Snowy-throated babblers, Mishmi Wren-babblers, Temminck’s Tragopan, Cachar Wedge-billed Babbler, Rusty-bellied and Gould’s Shortwing, Purple and Green Cochoa, chestnut-breasted partridge, Ward’s trogon, Red-headed Trogon, Beautiful Nuthatch, Fire-tailed myzornis, 4 parrotbill species, Great Hornbill, Pied Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Rufous necked Hornbill, Austen’s Brown Hornbill etc.
